Pcn appeal escalation

Options
I received a PCN from Parking Eye in February which I subsequently appealed, I never received a response to this appeal (e-mail or post) until I was contacted by Equita chasing payment, I have written to both Parking Eye & Equita stating that I did not receive a response to the initial appeal, or receive a POPLA code by which i could escalate my appeal, too no avail.

It wasn't until I contacted the BPA regarding this matter that they asked Parking Eye to Send a copy of the appeal response which they duly sent out. But neither the POPLA Code or another letter to Parking Eye worked. they have now contacted me, instructing me to send any future correspondence to Equita.

It seems i am just being passed from pillar to post

Is there any way to get the POPLA appeal i have been denied???

When you say that PoPLA did not work, what do you mean? Did PoPLA find for the PPC?
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

Normally when PE send the Equita rubbish its because they don't want to go to court and they hope that Equita will scare you into paying ....... IGNORE EQUITA and their stupid statements

But why would you ever deal with Equita if you have not had the opportunity to appeal to POPLA ??

You need to go direct to Steve Clark of the BPA as some of the staff do not have a clue.

When tangling with PE, and all appeal channels are exhausted, the next best thing is an Equita letter.

@OP - if you've got winnable grounds to take forward to POPLA, then if you can get a Code, go with it. If your grounds are marginal, or you just want the chance of a rant to POPLA, I'd keep my head down. You haven't told us what grounds you think you might have.

What did the landowner say when you complained to them and asked that they intervene to get this cancelled?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    Is this Scotland?

Or is it Aldi, if not which location?

And what happened when you tried the very first thing the NEWBIES thread suggests for all cases, a landowner complaint?

No, I was not given the opportunity to escalate the fine to the POPLA stage as I never received a response to my original appeal.

It occurred in Newcastle in a well know casino car park.

Made the mistake of passing through the car park with a works trailer that obscured the Registration No the first time and then without it again shortly after.

    Oh good, a double dip.

You should send a SAR asking for all images containing that vehicle and trailer that day, telling them the vehicle visited twice briefly, but never parked - and this is a double visit error that they MUST cancel or you will sue them.
