Widowed Parents Allowance and DLA?

I am in receipt of Widowed Parent's Allowance and ,I have been advised to claim either Incapacity Benefit or DLA.
Do any of these benefits impact on my WPA ?
Anyone give me a clear answer ?

WPA and IB are overlapping benefits so you would be paid the higher of the two. DLA would not have any impact on WPA.0
