Returning it may not be easy or cheap.
The battery weighs about 35Kg without packing materials and most (if not all) couriers won't accept lead acid batteries from private individuals due to them being classed as hazardous goods as they must be packed in a certain way and certified as being safe for transport.0 -

I had to buy one for my Nissan after a service because a cell had failed, battery still worked for everything else except the stop/start wouldn't work. I paid just under £200 wholesale though a dealer I know.0 -
AGM batteries are needed for stop/start technology and are about double the price of regular batteries.

Thanks, I didn't know that. I have stop/start on my car but I haven't yet needed to look at the battery (or even find out what type it is, clearly!).0
