can anyone reccccamend a good ear wash for my cat. She is really irritating me with all the head shaking. I dont think its ear mites as i have done her with a spot=on for fleas and ear mies but she is atill scratching. Dont tell me to go to the vete she has been 3 times and ive been given different meds but none work.
I want just an easr wash as i dont want to put anything to much in her ear as it is only a week since i did the spot-on

Take the cat to the vet!
Do not try to wash the cat's ears, EVER! You can damage the ears like humans no water should ever be put into the ears!

i have had her to the vets , twice. and the medication didnt work. They dudnt think ? there were any mites but gave me stuff to clean them with, didnt work and i just havent the funds to keep going all the time. I did ask if they would clesn them for me as i am 81 and nearly blind but they said i would have to do that mtself.
Also it is hard to find spmeone to take us,cab companies dont take pets and people are so busy its hard for them to find the time0 -
I have to take my cat to the vet via taxi when I book you tell them you need a pet-friendly one, the type of carrier you use and no problems.
Your vet does not sound very helpful, what about the Blue Cross?0 -
We had to have our cat knocked out and ears cleaned at the vets as however we tried we weren't confident enough with a wash to get it to work - it's a bit scary poking around in a cat's ear afterall. Given your sight issues, I'm suprised they are being so unhelpful. Can you use a different vet?Make £2025 in 2025
