Hi,
I'm looking for help as I am really confused with the parking ticket I received (I've never had one before and don't know if this is dodgey?)
I was parked in Aldi carpark for only 10 minutes, and didn't realise I got the ticket till I was home! Its a red ticket stating on the front - THIS IS NOT A PARKING CHARGE NOTICE and is a red ticket. On the back however, it states I need to log onto 'myparkingcharge' and enter the serial number on the ticket, along with my reg number, as the 'car park operator has reason to believe that this vehicle is parked in contravention of the advertised terms and conditions'.
I haven't entered any info on the website as it seems like a scam, as there isn't any information what I done wrong? (and to my knowledge I was parked fine, and was in and out in 10 mins).
It also states if I do not come forward and pay within 5 days, the operator may request my info from the DVLA?
Please can anyone help
I am a student and do not have money to pay this ticket.....

This is the portal of Excel and VCS, the well known parking scammers
What are Aldi doing by getting involved with these scammers, they normally use Parking Eye
There is the Trade Descriptions act.
They are saying "this is not a parking charge" and then on the back saying you have to pay >>> so what are you paying for ?
You already know of the banking scam, where a person gets a call saying "there appears to be transaction on the account" and then goes on the ask for personal info etc etc.
This is just the same and must be reported to Trading Standards
As they talk in the third party, who put this ticket on the car ?
Was it a member of Aldi staff ???
Maybe it is Excel or VSC walking round the car park switch selling to their own system ???
You cannot be expected to shop in a store where some random bod places a random ticket on a car
Whatever has happened, you now need answers from the CEO of Aldi and as a customer request an investigation into the matter and that he contacts EXCEL/VCS to get this cancelled
