You go to their website and fill out their tool to work out the best option, then they let you know what to do from there.0

Not at all. They are one of about a dozen 'competent authorities'

some are all online, some are face to face, some are telephone, some are a mixture of them all0

which companies do DRO online only, my husband needs to do a adro as i have stopped work to care for him after he had a stroke and his speech is not good so he is not confident on phone0

It's an online process for the Intermediary but no-one is going to be happy doing an application without having some interaction with him.
Can he leave the house? Try your local CAB.
Do you need a home visit? Maybe CAP0
