Adding 2nd desktop toTalkTalk wireless router

Hi,

I have broadband with talktalk which I connect wirelessly using a USB dongle. Access is through the phillips Talktalk router that I bought from Ebuyer.

My question is if I want to connect my daughters desktop (Windows 98SE) do I need to purchase the same companies dongle or can I buy any other make.

Also how do I find out if the USB hubs on the desktop are 1.0 or 1.1

Any help appreciated

Thanks

I have the same router from the same source - I connect to both my desktop and laptop, I use the dongle that came with the router on my DT, my laptop has built-in wifi and works perfectly. So any (decent!) dongle will be fine. :)
I only exist in my own mind - if you can see, hear or read me, you are a product of my imagination.
