Hi everyone,
First of all I just want to say thanks to you all on this board, I've never had any legal issues so panicked a bit when I got this court claim, but I've found so much info on these forums it's really helped so much.
I've now submitted my acknowledgement of service, and was wondering if the experienced members of the forum could take a look at my defence, any suggestions/criticisms much appreciated!

What is the Date of Issue on your Claim Form?0

No need for an address in a defence:My address for service is: ----.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

The amount claimed is £192 (£100 for the 2 tickets, £7 interest, court fee £35, legal representative's cost £50). Date of service is the 18th oct. Thanks for the tip about not needing address!
And the representative is Trethowans0 -
Aintree?
Trethowans will probably muck it up, well worth defending. Your defence looks good. Have you read the NEWBIES thread post #2 so that you are ready for each stage, and know what to expect?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Is that the Date of Service?
Or is it the Date of Issue on the Claim Form?
Sorry to ask, but they are two different things - often mistaken.
Ah I see, 18th is the date of service, the date of issue is the 15th October.
Haha not aintree, although they do seem to be producing the most parking ticket issues from what I've been reading! Yes I've had a good read of the newbies thread, I'll send the defence in the next few days. If there are any progress from this case I'll certainly keep you guys updated!0 -

Date of service of a court claim is deemed to be 5 days following the date of issue.
Hmm then I'm not sure, on the front page of the claim form, it says above the case number that 'issue date: CCMCC 15/10/2018'. Then in the middle of the page there is a stamped 'Date of service : 18/10/2018'.0 -

That's been issued via the County Court Money Claim's Centre (CCMC) in Salford rather than the MCOL County Court Business Centre (CCBC) in Northampton. Work on 28 days from 18/10/2018.
This can't have come from one of our usual suspects in the shape of Gladstones, BWL or SCS. Can you tell us which hospital and which solicitors please?
Are you being pursued as the registered keeper, using the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012, or the driver, or the owner ..... or what?
Who is the actual claimant?
Can you give us the precise details of the Particulars of Claim (POC) stated on the Claim. Word for word please.
I think you need to give us much more detail, because this is not the kind of bog-standard County court case we deal with daily.
Us having more information could potentially alter the way in which you defend this. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
