White UPVC door handles

The Yale white (painted ) door handles on the outside of my daughters conservatory are not yet 3 years old and have almost no paint left on them. She does not live in a area where the weather is severe so what can she do to preserve the new ones that I am having to fit. Surely these handles should last longer than that? I notice that Yale only guarantee these handles for 2 years. Any recommendations for new ones which will last longer.

Can't recommend a brand but I found rings, jewellery etc chips the paint which starts the corrosive process. I sanded & resprayed mine with white car paint0

Yes,thought of this but the alloy is so corroded I'll bet it wont be long before they rot again. Thought Yale was a decent brand.0
