buying in this area but .....

thinking of buying in wellingborough , northamptonshire but does anyone know this area well, i need to know what area Minerva Way, (nn8 3tp) falls under, someones said it the queensway area which isnt very popular ?

many thanks , hoping to get some clarification on this post code !!

    I live 4 miles away from wellingborough, and know the area well.

    Minerva way is in the Queensway estate, you are right. If I am frank, it is not a great area. Mostly council and rental properties, not that this is a problem necessarily, but in this case it is, if you get what I mean.

    Every few houses though, there is a property that is well-kept and obviously looked after. The houses themselves are of a reasonable size, good size bedrooms etc, garden etc

    The low prices are due to the fact that it is not a very popular area to buy.

    For roughly the same amount of money, I would go for the older part of town, terraced victorian streets. Still have some issues, but if you look carefully you can find a nice one, and it would be a better area to be in.

    Hope I havent offended anyone, I have some family that live in the queensway estate - so I am not being a snob!!!
