Council loading bay parking

I was in sheffield city centre & used the pay and display ticket machine. When I came back there was 15 minutes left from the 30 minutes I'd paid for. There was a parking ticket on my windscreen saying I'd parked in a loading bay. There was 1 sign that was facing in the opposite direction to where I'd parked (on a 1 way street) I have a photo but I can't work out how to add it to this post. Do I have grounds for appeal?

If this is a council-issued ticket, this isn't the best forum to help you. Instead, go to the PePiPoo forum which will be your best bet for council tickets. Have a read through some of the other threads there before you post your own to get the hang of what information they need from you in your opening post - but as a minimum you will need to post redacted photos/scans of all correspondence you've received from the council (both sides, if appropriate) as they need to see all the small print.

PePiPoo has an excellent success record in dealing with council tickets.
