Asbestos in porch ceiling

Hi,
My house has got a flat roof porch. The ceiling of the porch has got thermocol sheets and underneath that there is asbestos. Now I have got someone who is going to remove the asbestos. My questions are...
What do you replace the void with?
Is there any Building Regulations that needs to be taken care of?
This is all from inside the porch. The porch is quite old (prob 15-20 years).
Thanks

Whether or not you need building regs depends on whether the porch is a habitable room.
If the porch has just been built on the front of the house, and the house still has its front door, then the porch isn't part of the house, and building regs don't apply. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0
