Honeywell dial room thermostat not working properly

I have a 3 year old who often messes around with the thermostat and a few times I’ve found it ramped right up to the max or min. It’s never caused a problem until now as the heating is coming on. It looks like the thermostat is about 4C out. Is it an easy fix job or do I need to call a heating engineer?
I’ve googled it a bit and behind the cover there seems to be some notches (like a timer plug) so I wonder if my son has clicked it out of place?
Thanks in advance!

In most cases you can pull the knob off and put it back on the shaft with correct alignment.
The little notches under the cover are so you can set a min and max temperature.
