bosch cooker 1.5 years old - do i have rights?

Hi All,

I bought a Bosch cooker from AOL 1.6 years ago. It packed up. I had thought Bosch would be better than most but doesn't seem so!

Do I have any consumer rights here?

Called AOL, who I bought it from, they don't care.

Isn't it "reasonable" to expect a cooker to last more than 1.6 years?

You have consumer rights - as it's over 6 months of age you need to prove the fault was inherent.

Do Bosch give a warranty? It may be easier claiming on that.

Bosch provide a standard 2 year warranty with there products, have you called them?

Do you mean AO.com? I know AOL have had problems but they haven't diversified that much.

Ok your right they do make cookers but I was talking about the UK sales market not the rest of the world

You get a 2 year warranty so call them and they'll send out an engineer to repair. Simple!

I think the term cooker and oven are being used to mean the same thing.
