Buying and selling Charges per Deal

Hi Guys
Just wanted to check if anyone can advise if there are a better trading platform out there?
I currently trade from AJbell paying £9.95 Shares (including investment trusts, ETFs, gilts, and bonds) Per deal , I think it is quite high.
What others think, I don't do a high number of transactions though, at max 5 a month.
So is there any better platform?

5 a month in one account sounds like a lot of transactions to me - are you trading rather than investing?

iWeb is only £5 per deal. Unless it's shares you're buying it might be cheaper with a platform like HL that doesn't charge for fund purchases.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0

you may already know this, but just in case, i'll point out that, sticking with aj bell, you can buy many shares (including investment trusts & ETFs, but not gilts and bonds) once a month for a lower dealing charge of £1.50.
this is called "regular dealing", but you can change your "regular" purchases every month, or cancel them after only one purchase, if you want to. you can make changes as late as one trading day before the regular dealing date. trades are "at best".0 -

Similar with Halifax at £2 but there are usually 4 dealing days per month and you can set up one off purchases, no need to cancel anything.0 -
Thank you everyone.0

Strange that folks who think they know enough to select, buy and sell shares without advice don't have the gumption to research the best trading platform.
Just my opinion.0 -
