My dog have diabetes

Hello everyone!
My dog ​​(Golden Retriever) is diagnosed with diabetes and we are very lost. We live in Burbank, and my vet in Burbank suggested that I try to meet with other families with diabetes dogs so that I would know how to cope better and get tips on how to treat him right. We are very lost, and we do not know where to get medicines and equipment, how to test his blood sugar, how to inject insulin, and more. Although we received a recommendation for nutrition and we received very good explanations from the veterinarian, but we still feel lost. We will be happy to talk to families dealing with diabetic animals.
