Coat the wall with a miss coat prim or undercoat the skirting
then fit the skirting caulk then emulsion the wall paint and then gloss up has the last job
you could prime the new skirting in the garage
are you fitting the skirting with nails or no nails or screws good luck and happy decorating0 -
The skirting is fully furnished, so no need to paint it. The plan is use pinkgrip to fit the skirting to the wall. Will I need to screw it aswell?0

SG27 depends if your walls are strait and the finished skirting is strait too I used pink to do the job has well before I screwed it has well and it stayed put the problem then is what gap is there that needs caulking if only slight then id finish painting the wall and fit the skirting last and leave the caulk out0
