PPI Reclaim from Britannia Building Society?

Hi I am looking into putting in a PPI Reclaim from Britannia building society which merged with the co-op in 2009. Do I write to the Co-op or is their an address for such claims to Britannia building society?

Appreciate any advice

Thx

Did you take out a PPI policy with them directly or via a broker? When was the policy taken out?

If you bought from Britannia you complain to the Co-Operative but it does depend on whether you did buy from them or indirectly

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

    You start here.

    https://www.co-operativebank.co.uk/loans/payment-protection

You can make a PPI complaint or enquiry online if you’re a UK resident, and hold or held a Co‑operative Bank or smile product, or a Britannia mortgage, or a Northern Rock Credit Card with a card number starting 4124.

Alternatively if you’re a non-UK resident, or you’d like to complain about PPI relating to a Platform mortgage or Britannia Loans / Credit cards, then please download the FOS consumer questionnaire, complete it and send it to:

Was it through a Britannia branch or was it via a mortgage broker, estate agent or adviser? (most mortgages arranged in the UK are not done direct with lender and Britannia were very active on the broker/adviser/agent front in the early 90s)
