Old joint bank account

Hi there my ex husband and I have an old abbey/Santander joint bank account (although I think he added me on ?) from 15 or so years ago that neither of us use. I think there is about £100 in it and it is still under our old address. Can I ask to be removed from this account? I don't really have anything to do with my ex husband any more and would rather not contact him, however, I am looking to buy a property soon and I don't want this on my credit details (nothing wrong with the account but old address).

You can ask for the financial association to be removed from all 3 of your credit files, but they can only do this if the account is closed or you are removed as a joint account holder.
