Egyptian visa

I hope that someone can help.

We are travelling to Cairo from Heathrow in a couple of week and were expecting to buy the visa on arrival.
The travel company has advised us to buy an e-visa which I have tried to do but I can’t load the copy of the passport photo.
I would much rather obtain the visa on arrival but the travel agent says that the queues are horrendous.

If anyone has experienced this recently I would welcome your advice.

We went to Hurgarda ( i know different airport ) and purchased the visa on landing,no queues BUT make sure you go to the official goverment site as there were plenty of people trying to sell them but at a higher price.

Purely going on my experience with the Indian e-visa; have you asked them for support? Have you tried loading with a different browser; or over a different network? Do they allow you to use a lower-resolution photo?

It's some years since I went to Egypt but as you said you've booked with a Travel Agent this may apply. If you arrive at the airport and are having a transfer to your hotel arranged by the TA then you'll have to wait while other people queue anyway. This is what happened on my flight.
