  • I do love Fbook marketplace for that exact reason. I just won’t concentrate on the bits that don’t sell that then clutter up my room.

Well, the little foot measurer went and a chap came for the rocking horse so - woop woop. More space reclaimed. Which is just as well as we have the IKEA stuff coming on Friday. I'm desperately hoping after this weekend we might be able to become more organised.
I also had some cashback come through so that's another £40.
    And a shop and scan
    £10 voucher.
Works been intense this week, only one more day to go though and a slightly early finish at 3pm. CANNOT wait to see the back of work this week. I think I'm just feeling run down. I'm hoping the house being a bit more organised might make me feel a bit happier though. And I'm going for a walk with my Mum on Friday which I'm really looking forward to as I haven't seen her for a bit.

I need a shredder. Any recommendations?

If you haven't got a shredder yet, I'd recommend an @m@zon basics 8 sheet shredder and they also do a cross cut one which 5 - 6 sheets.  Will do CDs and CCs as well.  I've had one for a couple of years and its very sturdy, doesn't jam [unlike my previous one] and copes with staples.
Edited to add; I've just noticed they are out of stock :(

Thanks teapot2. I haven't made the leap yet because I decided to wait for Black Friday deals in case they drop the prices, with it being so close.

Had an IKEA delivery with a new unit and boxes for storage, so I'm in junk pile hell at the minute as everything is everywhere waiting to be sorted. To be fair though, it's made me really grateful for lockdown as nobody will just be "popping" in. Took a while to get the unit built yesterday as the boys decided they needed my undivided attention. Why is it always when you are busy they decide they want you.

Anyway, hoping after today the house will feel tidier and more sorted and we can start to think about getting the decorations down next weekend for Christmas.

Only 4 more weeks at work and school then we have 2 weeks at home together as a family - I cannot wait. Just to step of the treadmill for a bit sounds heavenly. Work has been nuts since the pandemic started and I've worked throughout (from home thankfully). I was off at half term but that honestly feels like a distant memory now.

We had a lovey day for DH's birthday yesterday. He was very excited to get his watch, the boys were angels and then we had a lovely afternoon tea with cakes for tea.

Today is decorate the house day, but we've managed to keep up the cleaning and tidying as well which as been nice. I still need to sort the rest of the playroom out and find homes for the boys stuff ahead of Christmas, but I'm sure we'll get there.

I'm definitely starting to feel more Christmassy now. Hope everyone else is starting to get into the festive spirit.

Excitingly someone has said they will come tomorrow for a unit we want to get rid of. It's a decent unit and I really didn't want to get rid of it to the tip, but it has a "heater" in the bottom so the furniture shops won't take it. We just don't have any space for it. And I'm so pleased someone is going to make use of it. I felt terribly guilty getting rid (it came with the house so technically didn't cost us anything.
