Hi Everybody,

Thank you for reading my post and advising. I have read the newbies post and would like some help contesting my fine if possible.

Late last year I spent some time volunteering for a charity once a week for 4 hours. Unfortunately the only place I was able to park at the time was the garage across the road.

I received a letter recently from the county court business centre on behalf of Gladstone solicitors, who were representing PARKING CONTROL MANAGEMNT (uk) ltd.

They are trying to get me to pay around £850 in respect of parking in said garage last year on four occasions.

I have registered with the county court centre to say I will be defending the claim.

As I’ve put this off due to other things going on in my life I now have two weeks to create a defence.

I have acquired an email address for the car garage I parked in. Can anyone advise me on what I should put in this complaint to try and get them to instruct PCM to cancel the ticket?

And should I highlight the garage on my LinkedIn profile to add pressure to them get them cancelled?

You don't need to start a new thread every time you want to post something about the same parking event, just post on the bottom of your original thread!
