Unbiased promotes those who pay to advertise there, so chances are that's the kind of broker you've contacted.

    I am a Mortgage Broker

You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Broker, so you need to take my word for it. This signature is here as I follow MSE's Mortgage Adviser Code of Conduct. • Using 'vouched for' or finding an adviser/broker with reviews on 'trust pilot' is probably the next best thing to a personal recommendation.

Just because an Adviser/Broker advertises on vouched for - it doesn't make them any better/worse of a professional. Just do your due diligence - don't pay until you get an offer and get a feel for their experience and personality etc... If you find someone with good reviews, had a good level of industry experience and you get on with them - then you have a good starting point.

I got my broker from on here.

I think he's regretted answering my PM ever since

From my side, been worth every penny (& then some).

Never even set eyes on the one I went with....For all I know he's got a pirate patch & 3 arms.

Although I must admit, when I was looking I too narrowed it down to 3 prolific posters on here, what swung it was should I have needed too I could've met them...
