It's not applicable here as i didn't see the part where it stated it's social housing. I do however disagree with that statement but we can't all agree with everything. Having rented privately myself for many years i certainly wouldn't consider keeping some like that from my landlord. I hardly sleep as it is....Given that the help with housing costs is paid to the UC claimant who is still responsible for paying the landlord I am not sure that a landlord would need to know even if it was applicable.0 -

My view is that if you pay the rent on time then it’s no business of the landlord where the money comes from. However I’m fortunate enough not to have that concern and I respect your point of view - it’s important to get what sleep you can.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0
