SARs, PPCs asking for payment, and Britain's Parking Hell

Borrowed from the Facebook Sandhills parking action group.
The action group organiser has been encouraging people hit by PCNs to send SARs. A Mr P who runs DSFP, the PPC infesting the Instow car park in Devon, had been requesting £10 before he would respond. Complaints to the ICO were made as a result.
"It appears Mr P has been told off by the ICO and has had to take the ICO logo off his website and is no longer requesting £10 to action SAR requests."
He is however asking for ID, including photo' ID.
"Having spoken now to the ICO, DSFP are allowed to ask for ID so a copy of your V5 vehicle log book and a utility bill. Asking for photo ID when they have no photo ID already would not be considered reasonable and the form they sent does not have to be completed."
In addition to the above, Channel 5's Britain's Parking Hell are hopefully going to be filming and interviewing people affected at or near the car park this sunday, October the 28th. This date has already been changed once, so it is not guaranteed they will be there.
The action group is trying to get as many people there as possible.
In my opinion the action group is well organised, very knowledgeable and well run.

Photo Id is completely useless re a SAR. How do you know what the person looks like.Private Parking Tickets - Make sure you put your Subject Access Request in after 25th May 2018 - It's free & ask for everything, don't forget the DVLA0

Good luck to this group, any action which gives scammers as much grief/work as possible gets my vote every time0
