How different are the shades? Is it as minor as one shade of pink to a slightly lighter or darker shade of pink but difficult to tell the difference until applied or is it as different as red and purple?0

You can tell when you put it on, there’s a slight difference looking back on it but it’s more prevalent once you put it on0

In that case, if the assistant never told you the name/number of the shade and they are so similar that you couldn't tell a difference until you applied it how can you be sure that it's a different shade and not just looking different in your home lighting to shop lighting?

The colour that was put on me was more natural and was meant to be for everyday. The one she has given me is a lot pinkier with subtle tones of red. I showed the person who I had with me and even they agreed.
I think I know where the confusion lay. Once the lady had tested it on me my friend if she can test one in a slightly pinkier colour. My friend decided not to go ahead with the purchase but the sale assistant accidentally picked up the colour my friend had looked at0
