Prescription charges

Hi cyber people, just a quick one, if you have a continace problem ie suprapubic catheter would you be entitled to free prescriptions for catheters bags etc and if the ansewer is yes does it mean all you presciptions for other problems are free too ?

I think you had best ask a pharmacist this one. The only free prescriptions I know are for contraceptives, if you are a diabetic or if you are pregnant or unwaged otherwise you have to pay.
You can get a pre-pay prescription certificate - I have one and it cost me about £93 for 12 months and that covers me for all my medication.0 -
If you are on a low income you might qualify for help with prescriptions & other health costs such as dental an optical. You need for HC2 to claim.The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
Ive just done a search on suprapubic catheters,and by the looks of it on google,the cathter is inserted through the tummy area so it would be
"requiring continuous surgical dressing" a to cover the exit site wound and protect it from infection
and this should give you free prescriptions but not sure about free dental.

you could print it off to show the doctor when he signs your exemption form
