Ben, for you to have an income equivalent to the one you have now, you'd need to have a salary of somewhere between £29,500 and £31,000.
That isn't the amount you need to earn to cover your outgoings, that's the amount you need to earn to be in the same position as you are now. So, if you currently have money left over each month, you could go for a lower salary so as to exactly match your income with all of your bills and spending.
Beyond that, you will need to think about reducing your outgoings.0 -

I have just opened up the reverse calculator and inputed some random figures to see what results I get. one question does it deduct NI Deductions as well or just tax???

If you use the calculater that I linked to earlier then it breaks down the gross pay into tax, NI and net pay.0
