Wren kitchen contract breach?

Back in August my mum chose a kitchen from Wren and paid a £1300 deposit. I am paying for the kitchen so signed the contract and a credit agreement on 27/9 in a different branch.
A week ago the original designer called mum and asked for another £123 to cover an under order of plinths(!). The designer told mum her kitchen would be incomplete without it or delayed if she didn’t pay that day so she paid. I called and complained because the contract is with me and after the contract is signed they can’t ask for more money. After many phone calls I finally got them to refund this money to mum.
Yesterday mum was told that her installation date is no longer 29/10 but 5/11 due to a mix up in the installation department. I have taken leave from work to be there during the work starting 29/10 and can’t change it.
Does this in combination with the charging extra for the plinths count as a breach of contract and can I cancel? Don’t trust them any more!!
Thanks
