Gladstones LBC, first response help

Hi, I received a PCN back in July. I sent an initial appeal highlighting my reasons for appeal which they declined. Being that it is unclear that the space I had parked in was not a designated space due to a lack of markings and following the logical flow of how the rest of the cars were parked. I then ignored the subsequent letters until this month when I have received an LBC from Gladstones.

I am currently going through a breakup and have a 6 month old son and recently started a new job. My stress levels are high and my mental energy is all but gone completely. I am also struggling financially, so I apologise if my post is lacking obvious information from the sticky or is poorly written. I'm not feeling very up to this but I have no choice!

Is my first response back to Gladstones simply to request all of the evidence and data they have? Or do I also re-highlight my original grounds for appeal?

I feel very lost and when reading the sticky nothing seems to sink and I feel quite helpless.

Part of me wishes I had just paid the £60 initially!

I am thinking something like this as a first response?

If needed I can post a picture of the letter received and redact all identifiable information.

Dear Gladtones,

I am writing to request all evidence and data regarding my case be sent to me. You have stated that your client has sufficient evidence that they may rely on in court. I ask to be shown all evidence.

I also request that you provide evidence of all signage at the time of incident as well as evidence that the road markings and parking bays made it clear where parking is permitted.

Kind regards,
FordKeeper
