Although the notes will be issued in Scotland you should be able to use them across the rest of the UK.

Can never understand why my fellow scots dont use atm,s down south and save themselves a lot of bother,Bos and Rbos notes are fine but its gonna be a joke when clydesdale.notez change to virgin bank ones

Legally, the BoE guarantees the notes too anyway - so you are double protected with Scottish / Ulster notes.
