dont think i have been missold ppi but how can i be sure

Options
I have always been quite savvy with money.
i have only a loan on the kitchen with ikea which is interest free.
i am mortgage free.
i never took PPI on previous mortgages.
i dont pay any charges on bank accounts
i always pay off credit cards and store cards in full and make sure i dont tick the insurance box.

my friend is using a PPI company and gets £20 from them if i get on board.
i dont know where i may have been missold ppi.

The only possible time is when i had a car loan ages ago. I have no idea who it was with, and cant even remember the car. I dont know how to find out about this so is it worth using the company to find out.

thanks

Never ever use a claims company. Your friend gets £20, you lose half your money and get added to the suckers list.

Since you don't appear to have had PPI, can't remember any lenders and weren't mis sold anything, it's probably best to move on. No claims company will have any records of your loans.

most people never bought PPI. it is more common that the same people were missold it (or bought it) most or every time.

In which case you would complain to the car dealer. However, car dealers were not regulated until Jan 2005. So, if this is older than that, then the car dealer doesnt need to consider the complaint (bar a few of the own brand finance providers)

    How very generous of them.
They've charged (or will charge) your friend around a third of any redress he won and now want to give him back twenty quid so that you'll do the same??
