Help to buy windows & doors

Hi all,
I have recently purchased a 15 year old property and seen that they have a help to buy (non government scheme) for windows and doors.
I was wondering if anyone has ever used any of these types of schemes and if so, how did you find it.
Also is there anyone else who can give any impartial advice regarding these schemes even if you haven't had them yourself.
Thanks,

Who is they ?
These so called "schemes", including ones like "scrappage" are nothing more than a sales trick to sucker you in. They only help these companies provide would be credit schemes loaded with fees and high interest rates. The bigger the company promoting the "scheme", the higher the initial quote and the more you will have to pay.
That said, some local councils offer (minimal) grants and low cost funding for some home improvements, but the selection criteria is very strict and only open to the poorest in the community. Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0 -
from reading this site, think the initial quote is about 20k for a few people, but after negotiations goes down to about 5K. Just search for both double glazing and windows on this site.
Do not be afraid to ask questions here about the company here as others may have had shabby service from them.
" help to buy (non government scheme) "... sounds like fools gold, but I could be wrong?
Also if you want someone to look your quote, there is a quote section too https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=940
