County Court Claim

I need some help please!!
I parked in my sisters apartment block and was given a visitors permit by the concierge who took a note of my reg, date and time. I displayed the permit on my dashboard i usually do.
When returning to my vehicle a few hours later i had been issued a parking invoice i had noticed the permit was displayed with the rear side showing. The development is on the waterfront and it was windy that afternoon so i can only imagine when closing the door the permi has blown over.
I appealed the invoice, with proof of the permit. They rejected it and now i have received a county court claim form against me through the money claims online.
any advice will be much appreciated, i'm trying to build my credit up as it is and dont feel that i should pay £185.00.
