TSB Classic Plus - any disadvantages?

I opened a Classic Plus last week in branch and it was completely hassle free. I had no issue.0

So payments into & out of the TSB Classic Plus can only be set-up in a branch, due to the ongoing online issues?
I was thinking of going into a TSB branch & opening one, but it's not going to be very inconvenient for me if I have to go in branch to deposit, & then transfer out, the minimum £500 required every month to get the 5%.0 -

Have four TSB accounts between me and my missus.
Only problem I had, was unable to log-in for a couple of days, when it all went wrong. Didn't cause me any problems.
Everything's good and I'll accept the 5% interest, thank you very much . .0 -
I think you've misunderstood. You'll have to go into a branch to open an account at the moment, but once it's opened you can pay in and make payments out online.
So it's just the opening of a new account online that's the issue with TSB, even if they are a new customer.
Thanks for the reply EarthBoy - much appreciated.0 -

The only thing that they are requiring you to do in branch is open the account. After that, it's your choice how you manage it.0
