UC/JSA sanctions after resigning 7yrs ago?

Hi, i voluntarily resigned my job 7 years ago because i was not coping with stress. I was on JSA for just a few weeks then went on to ESA and have been on that until today.
When i am well enough to start looking for work again will i be sanctioned for having resigned or will it not count because it was so long ago. Is there some sort of time limits on sanctioning in the process?

They should have looked at this 7 year's ago. It won't affect anything now.0

You will not be sanctioned.
On UC if you are expected to look for work the maximum sanction for a first offence is 91 days. This means that if you give up work voluntarily without good reason and then apply for UC you can be sanctioned for up to 91 days from the date you stopped work. After that the ‘offence’ is out of time.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0
