BPA scootland
just looking thru code of practice regarding scootland
"Information note: Apart from the reduction in the
maximum value for a parking charge from £150 to
£100 and the change in requirements for site signage,
the operational requirements below are fundamentally
unchanged from Appendix B ‘Parking Tickets’ in the
2011 AOS Code, but now only apply to Scotland and
Northern Ireland.
where the £150 come from?

Where is 'Scootland'?
Is that a place where everyone rides around on Vespas and Lambrettas?
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.0 -
yes north of the border , they are frightened of cars as well !
the quote is from the bpa code of practice book 2018 , I am asking where the £150 figure quoted came from , as I was lead to believe the max was £100 in england , wales scotland and northern ireland0
