Protection from Publicity for Bankruptcy - form needed

Hi, apparently there is a form which I can fill in to get protection from publicity, i.e not have my name in the paper? I was in bad relationship, and do not want my ex to discover my address. Does anyone know how i can get this form and download it?

Usualy you would ask on the day you attend court, its up to the judge to decide if your details are submitted to the public....usually they only withold your name etc if your life is in immediate danger from violent ex etc or you have had to move from them into a hostel shelter etc for you & your family saftey

there's been a similar thing here

Even if your name is published in the local papers, it is extremely doubtful that the neighbours or ex will be trawling the papers looking for the names of bankrupts. The OR does have the right to publish your name in the London Gazette, and a local paper, but the people who scour the London Gazette are, usually, people like major banks/financial organizations, looking for possible fraud, and Insolvency Practitioners, who are looking for a way to 'make a fast buck' by offering you an IVA as a means to 'reverse your bankruptcy'.
Even in the local paper, your bankruptcy is hardly likely to be 'Front Page News' - it will probably merit a couple of lines, buried deep within the personal announcements.

I was made bankrupt In march this year and I have never seen my name in the local press - nor have I met anyone who has.
I TOTALLY understand your concern, though, but try not to worry.

Unfortunately I DID see mine in the paper - it was very kindly pointed out to me by my landlord! That night I held my breath every time the phone rang, thinking it was someone calling to say they had seen it too! Thankfully no one has ever mentioned it, and as far as I know only 3 people in 'real life' know about it, and they are the 3 I chose to tell (inc my landlord). As far as I know, my parents don't even know, if they do they have never mentioned it.
