Peugeot 107 MOT advisories

Hi,
I'm thinking about buying a Peugeot 107, 2008 reg, 70k miles on the clock, FSH and recent service. Price seems good at £850.

I asked about the MOT advisories and was told the following:

“001 suspension arm rubber bush deteriorated but not resulting in excessive movement Front (bothfront arms, rear bushes) [2.4.G.2]”

“002 Anti-roll bar linkage rubber bush deteriorated but not resulting in excessive movement Front (both sides of vehicle) [2.4.G.2]”

Anyone know if these would be costly to get fixed? Do you think it's still worth buying this car?

Thanks

Wear and tear items that are not yet a fail and may not be. You know your repairs budget so price em up somewhere you trust for an answer.

I read that as a Peugeot with 107 advisories! Oops.

I agree that they are just wear and tear items. I'd leave them for now, but put some money aside to replace them in due course. They may well last the life of the car.

Use them as a bargaining point to knock some money off!

Bushes are rubber, the outer surface has dried out with age and has some cracking. Not a problem until you start to get play in it. Anti-roll bar bushes are a few quid to buy and minimal labour to change. Suspension arm bushes you just buy a complete arm with the bushes and ball joint typically around £30 or so per side plus 30-60 mins labour.
