Hi
Looking for advice or share experiences. We ordered bedroom furniture from feather and black online in September, and paid £1000 deposit. Estimated delivery was given as the 17th October. When I didn't get any requests to pay the balance I called them, only to be told not to pay the balance yet as they couldn't tell me whether the stock was available and after trying to check with their warehouse they still couldn't tell me. Having called them 3 times and emailed twice, on hold for at least 20 mins a time they still have no answer. I have now read the reviews on this company on Trust pilot and many people are in similar situations, many having paid the whole lot and still not receiving orders. I want to cancel the order but wondering if I will be able to get my money back under the chargeback scheme for debit cards (deposit paid on visa debit), or whether it will be disputed as they haven't yet officially failed to deliver - they just can't/won't tell me if its even in stock!! Anyone have similar experiences with them? Where do I stand with getting the deposit back? Anyone know of a contact number for their head of customer services?

Inform them that you're cancelling the order due to their missed delivery (per the estimate) and inability to confirm any delivery date at all. If they refuse to cancel (and/or refund in full) then raise a chargeback claim.0
