A lot of people "au fait" with this and more have given you detailed advice. Toy won't get anything different by asking again.0 -
Hi there,
I'm looking for advice please on the rights of ex-employees who assume a casual role in the same job after leaving the role full time.
The government advice pages say that ex-employees have more rights than usual casual workers but doesn't explain specifically what these extra rights are.
To clarify, I ask in relation to me leaving a local authority position only to continue seemlessly in a casual capacity working weekends as a second job.
Thanks for any advice

It’s what I did. I had a full time contract for over 4 years, came back to zero hours, my own choice. You then stick with the zero hours contract rule regardless. Means I’ll have to apply to the government for my maternity pay but it was my choice to ask for zero hours after my extended break so I made my bed and will lie in it.
Just like you will have to:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

Your rights haven't changed since yesterday. Or even in the whole week since last Tuesday's post. Strange that isn't it?0
