Newbie here. Looking for opinions on PCN

Hello,
I’m new here. I was google searching and came across the MSE forums and this seems the best place to get advice.
I’ve read the newbie thread, briefly, but I need opinions. Should I pay up or appeal.
So I parked in a NCP car park, paid £5.00 for a 2 hour stay.
I arrived back to my car 25 minutes early and I noticed a PCN on my windscreen.
Totally shocked, because I knew I had paid and displayed my ticket and I was back early.
Anyway I opened it up and it said I had to pay £100 for not parking in the bay properly. Or £60 if I paid with in 14 days.
I took photos, of course because I’m my opinion I was parked appropriately.
The parking bays only had T shaped markings at the front, which were on the road. None at the back of the bays anc no solid white lines splitting the bays up.
Before I got my ticket I checked my parking, I even joked to my partner and said if you don’t park properly you’ll get fined. I thought my parking was fine.
After I read the ticket I checked my parking and with closer inspection My wheels were right on the “line” basically I had to stand infront of my car and eye up the T shaped markings to my wheels.
I wish I knew how to add pictures. Can someone help me with this?
From some angles it looked like I was parked far from the line but when I was directly infront on my car my wheels were on the T shaped marking.
Should I appeal or just pay up?

nobody here would advise you to pay, our advice is to fight
you can host pics on tinypic and add a dead URL to your reply, by changing http to hxxp
keep the evidence like pics and the paid for ticket
edit your post above to say the DRIVER or the KEEPER, keeping it third party only, never use the words "MY , ME , MYSELF & I"
parking companies troll forum,s like this and take screenshots or witness statement (ie , plead the 5th)
its not a "fine", its an INVOICE, a Parking Charge Notice, or PCN
appeal as KEEPER on day 26 using the blue text template, no alterations whatsoever0 -
Thanks.
I tried to add a picture using tinypic but as I’m a new user it said I couldn’t post links?
They actually troll these threads? I’m shocked.

It won’t allow me to edit my post. I’m using my iPhone, maybe that’s why?0

Yes, maybe it is.
Others have reported difficulties when using this forum on a mobile telephone.0 -

correct, which is why I gave you instructions on getting around posting live links (by posting dead ones instead)
use a laptop to edit your posts, not a smartphone
