If any of your transactions are classed as ‘cash’ you will be charged interest even if you pay the balance in full. Interest begins to accrue from the moment a cash transaction is posted to your account. This might be a cash withdrawal - or it may be a payment that is classed as cash such as crediting a gambling account (although this is less Likely now) - if you’re withdrew £40 last month / paid the balance including the interest - there’d still be more interest to pay this month - it’s the way it’s calculated - as mentioned ‘trailing interest’ - have you made any cash or cash linked transactions ?WOODY210363 said:I have got my Halifax clarity card set up to pay the full balance every month so why do I get charged interest when ever I spend on it?
