Remember the score they use is their own internal one not the ones used by the CRA’s.
And they are also not obliged to tell you what their scoring methods and algorithms as
Not worth mentioning from the sounds of it...
It's probably a laminated poster in the office with different bands of scores from pass to fail :rotfl:Advice provided from this account does not consist of any professional knowledge. Update: The referencing agency have come back to me this morning. Their enquiries with Equifax confirm that the reason for the low score is that I’ve opted out of showing my electoral roll info on the public register. This can’t be amended instantly (takes 30 days according to Equifax) so I have now failed this check and probably missed out on the tenancy as a result of opting out of something that I just assumed was marketing-related. Where is the sense in that?!0

I’ve never had any issue either and have never been on the public register so I’m finding it really odd! Any suggestions on how to challenge this? Their referencing system is clearly flawed and I’m now looking and coughing up £6k in advance as a result of “computer says no”.0
