Park Indigo

I received a PCN from Park Indigo alleging that I failed to obtain a ticket when my vehicle was parked in a station car park on September 11th. I appealed the PCN attaching a scan of my parking ticket for the 11th. However the appeal was turned down, giving the date of the offence as September 10th and attaching photos of my car entering the car park on the 8th and 11th of September. I have contacted them to point out that the appeal against the PCN for September 11th had not been dealt with and asking them to provide evidence that my vehicle was parked in the station car park on September 10th however they are stonewalling me saying I should take it up as a civil matter.
As they haven't issued a PCN for September 10th, when my car wasn't in the station car park, can they persue me in a magistrate's court?
I'm a little confused by how long they have to ussue the PCN after the alleged offence, some sites say they have up to 6 months to issue them after the offence. I don't want them to suddenly issue me with a PCN for September 10th, even though I know they have no evidence against me.
Any help will be gratefully received.

This is a byelaws ticket from the sounds of it. Indigo are easy to deal with. Ignore it.
Indigo have a contract that says they can't take these to court. They will threaten lots but ultimately they are impotent.0 -
Have you used your real name as your forum username?
Then your really should ask MSE to change it to something totally anonymous.
To help with that, you might like to read this short extract from The MSE Forum Guide - Frequently Asked Questions & Rules:Q. How can I change my username?
A. In most circumstances, this is not permitted.
The only reason we will change your username is if it puts your privacy at risk. This usually means you've inadvertently registered using your name, email address or something that gives away your identity within your username.
If you fall into this category, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com and request that it is changed, giving three alternative usernames in order of preference.0
