Hi guys, wonder if you can help at all?
I am desperate for a holiday, however, due to work commitments I only have a week at the end of July or a week at the beginning of October to go away (at least I'll be able to look forward to something!) and I just don't know where to consider!
My partner and I would like somewhere hot, pref self-catering (renting apartment cheaper than hotel?), near the beach (although not too important), not too far from an airport (pref with budget flights?), on or close to a golf course(s) and pref flying from Birmingham/Midlands airport.
I'm aware that October is going to be a lot cheaper, but would still like to hunt for the bargain of the century in July too!
We only have a couple of hundred pounds each at very most. If I've left anything out please ask.
Thanks for any help, S_C

What about Barcelona? Just got back from there a few weeks ago and was really good. Flights (www.easyjet.com) and an apartment (www.rent4days.com) for 6 worked out at about £110 each, we stayed near the beach and port and the airport was about 20 mins away in a taxi. Not sure about golf in Barca, but did watch the footie which was fun! You might struggle to get anything cheap in july, might be best to wait for a last minute deal. We found the apartment much cheaper than a hotel. If you book with the people that we used, ask them for a discount, I did and got about 40 euro's off!2p off is still 2p off!0

Try Fuengirola near Malaga in Spain. Budget flights are cheap (from Nottingham Midlands), train to Fuengirola is only about 2 euros and I know of a hotel which is 45 euros a night (double room). Plus it is usually still hot around that time of year.0
