Can do if you slip over because of it.

Thank you, I meant to the patio, the patio is not so big that this is a risk

Moss can hold moisture in, which in freeze/thaw conditions can cause damage to certain types of surfaces, although it's probably not seen as a really serious problem.

It depends what is causing moss to grow esp after the very hot summer . Is there a burst / slow leaking pipe underneath?

Moss needs water . A poor draining patio could be a cause .

It is a bit more complicated than that the connection keeps coming out and I can't work out how to stop it happening!
