Chasing radiator pipes into wall??

Hi
I’m just in process of gutting all bedrooms and just looking at radiator options
I can bury pipes into the wall and then plaster over but apart from it looking nicer is there any advantage to doing it?
I was just thinking from a future maintenance point of view and if there was a problem I would end up mending a part of the wall rather than just lifting floorboard and carpet
Or am I just over thinking it?
Thanks

If your system uses micro bore (or even standard size) plastic pipe, you could embed it in the wall. There are wall plates available for just this type of job to neaten things up. Make sure the pipes are sleeved in conduit so that they can be removed if/when they need replacing.
Copper pipes should always be sleeved as plaster & cement will corrode them. Don't have joints buried in the plaster, because if they leak, you'll be ripping the walls apart to get to them.
I have two drops of copper CH pipes from ceiling to (near) floor level - Both have been sleeved in 20mm conduit and chased in to the walls. One pair come out behind a kitchen unit, so no need to make things look pretty, The other pair terminate in a tee piece set in to an electrical wall box. Being behind a radiator, it isn't readily visible.
Horizontal runs are best done under the floorboards - On solid brick walls, you are very limited on the depth of chasing for horizontal runs. 1/6th of the wall thickness if memory serves correctly, so about 17mm for a single brick. Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0
