How to stop bananas ripening?

Is there a way to slow down the process so that a small bunch of bananas is still edible at the end of the week?

I buy my bananas loose and pick a spectrum of colours from green to spotty then i have bananas for everyday

Also used the hook from a broken clothes hanger to diy a banana hook off the end of the kitchen cupboard so it sits above my fruit bowl
