Barclays CPP claim (pre 2003)

In relation to this thread:
https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/CPP-card-protection/

My wife has had CPP since 2003 for her 1 card that she's ever had!!!!

She was sold a payment protection service which would cancel her only debit card she has with barclays.

I am trying to assist her in claiming for all the monies paid, however she does not remember how she was sold.

Also it's pre-2005 so people who got the policy early like her did not get contacted by the redress scheme.

Anyone know how to tackle this claim? I have downloaded the template letter but would like to see how others have angled this claim letter.

OP just fill in the details honestly, anything else will come back and bite you in the bum

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
